Black and white water washed acrylics on brown paper. ~ 24x30" Cropped down to roughly 16x24. 1.5 hour Figure Study

Never really worked with paints before. So this is pretty much the result of the past 12 hours of class time learning how to handle it.

I'm going to have to get a better camera, or learn how to deal with camera noise. I sat here trying to edit it out for way too long and finally realized I had digitally messed with it too much. So scratched that and left it pretty much untouched (except for some levels work in PS CS3)

This makes me want to go to school

I've dabbled a teeny tiny bit with acrylics, oils and watercolor and while I can make a picture, I don't understand technique or how to actually work with the medium. But it's fun and a learning process nonetheless. Fantastic job here
